Four in row, as far as weekday runs go. I don't think I've gone four in a row for quite some time. Feels good and getting way easier to get out of bed. Knowing Jay is meeting me for most the runs also helps. Got in a five mile solo jaunt this morning at the wheeler road trails. Uneventful to say the least. Hard pack and ice for most of the run with some decent size postholes to avoid. Finished in just under a hour.
Have been checking out watches with GPS, altimeters and all the other gadgets. Many people recommend the Garmin Forerunner 310xt but it cost about 400 bucks. Not sure if its worth it and i dont want to become one of those people who rely on their watches for pace, alt, mile etc. I dont even listen to music when i run so maybe i should keep it old school. Could be fun to play around with though.
Thinking of linking the wheeler st trails (upper and lower) on to some road running for saturday morning. Figure we could carry packs and have all fuel and fluids with us instead of making trips back to the car. Could stash our traction in the packs as well. Milbury, east st, and keith hill trails could also come into play if we decide on this.
