I met up with a few folks from the newly created Wachusett Mountain Running Club and did some repeats up and down the mtn. We started in the base parking lot, took a right on "1 Mile Hill", banged a right into the ranger station and headed up the auto road to the summit. All in all it was about 2.5 up and 2.5 down for 3 repeats (others did up to 7 I think). Between the road pounding and my stomach, three sounded like a good number.
Nice to see I'm up to 65 miles this week in the running log. This is the highest training week total ever. Body feels good. Legs feel great. Right shin a little tweaky from the all the road pounding. A definite trail day tomorrow.
Right now glued to the computer. Been checking WS updates all day to see how Josh Katzman is doing. Looking strong thru 62 mile in 22nd place. GO JOSH!!!!
