Singing in the Rain

Quick 4 mile tempo this morning at the Wheeler Rd trails. Rain was coming down fairly hard at times but the trees and leaves kept me from getting saturated. Actually ran into an older gentleman walking the trails as I was finishing up, which is a first. He had on his hiking boots, orange rain coat (Arcteryx i think) and a big smile. I said to him, "I don't think  I've ever seen anyone out here this early!" He responded with, "It's a great day to be out on the trails!" I really wonder what this world would be like if we had more people like him walking around.
