Ran the rayburn single track this morning on a cool crisp day (31 deg!). Jay and two student newbie trail runners came along for the ride with one bailing after 10 minutes and the other hanging strong until the finish (53 minutes). Jay and I then hit a short loop for an additional 15 minutes at warp speed. Felt good to run easy today then pick it up at the end. Spoke with Jay about the easy running I've been doing (with all the newbies showin up) and i think its actually helped me out in my recovery. I had never really taken "easy" days up to this point, but now see some benefits.

Oh thanks for telling me another was on the way....
ReplyDeleteTell your wife to pace you the last 50m. If she goes into labor that way you'll be there when it happens and you can finish the race once the babies out
