Just got back from a great weekend up in the whites. Got a solid training run in on saturday morning of 8 miles on roads, bike path and trails by the pemigewasset river. Sunday was race day up loon mtn. Ran to and from the race (little over a mile), raced (5.7) and also ran down the mtn back to the start (4) for a good day of running. Sunday was another soild run of 6.6 miles of road and trail near my parents rental house.
Got in 5.5 miles today on the roads in grafton. My quads are completely shot. For an uphile race, there were sure many tough descents and my body is letting me know it.
