Well then, that about sums it up. I'm not sure I would go that far but I do like the storyline behind the race. A must read if you have the time.
Ran the upper and lower wheeler trails again this morning. I added some distance with some variations and loops in both trail systems.
Footing was hard pack ice and the spikes held true. Temps were colder than normal (10 deg i think). Saw the sunrise while coming out of the woods and into a big field. Blues, oranges, yellows and greys. A beautiful sight I must say. Would be nice to catch that everyday.
